Job summary

Gleason Corporation is seeking a Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage daily accounts receivable operations, including customer invoicing, cash receipts processing, and deductions resolution. You will collaborate with internal and external sales teams and ensure accurate master data and timely payments.

The role requires strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma
• Experience: Four to ten years related experience
• Computer Skills: Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, SAP

Responsibilities

• Post cash receipts (wire, ACH, check) daily
• Process credit card payments
• Ensure timely and accurate customer invoicing and process paper invoices for mail
• Process requests for customer credits and debits as well invoice cancellations
• Create and maintain customer master records
• Evaluate and recommend customer payment terms and credit limits
• Analyze and resolve customer payment discrepancies
• Analyze and resolve customer past due invoices and maintain status notes
• Collaborate with internal/external sales to resolve payment issues
• Process sales representative commissions statements and payments
• Process Letters of Credit with customers
• Identify opportunities to improve work processes for efficiency and accuracy
• Prepare and maintain policies, forms, and work instructions
• Other duties as assigned
