Job summary

JMA Logistics, LLC is seeking an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our small but fast-paced team in Livonia, MI. You will process AP/AR, handle collections, and maintain accurate financial records while supporting month-end close and various reporting tasks.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting and 2+ years AR/AP experience.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficient with QuickBooks, AS400, and Microsoft 365.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable; handle collections.
• Retain historical records by filing documents accurately.
• Perform month-end and year-end duties.
• Track and reconcile all financial activities.
• Prepare reports of receipts and expenditures.
• Maintain vendor and customer information.
• Daily financial data entry.
• Reconcile statements, suppliers and client accounts.
• Manage corporate credit cards and employee expenses.
• Generate and mail statements on request.
• Interact with customers to resolve payment issues.
• Research and process customer claims of invoice payment.
• Generate reports and identify discrepancies and cost savings opportunities.
• Collect daily mail from campus general mailbox on site.
