Lanier Home Restoration seeks a detail-oriented Financial Controller Assistant to support daily accounting tasks, invoicing, and financial reporting. You will work closely with the Financial Controller to manage QuickBooks data, invoicing, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or a similar position.
• Experience using QuickBooks.
• Experience with invoices and accounts receivable/payable.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets.
• Comfortable working with financial statements, reports, and numerical information.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while also working closely with the Financial Controller.
• Must be dependable, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Financial Controller with daily accounting and financial tasks.
• Enter, review, and maintain financial information in QuickBooks.
• Prepare and process customer invoices.
• Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Track outstanding invoices and assist with collections; reconcile accounts and review transactions for accuracy.
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
• Create, update, and maintain Excel spreadsheets and financial reports.
• Assist with monthly financial reporting and account reconciliations.
• Review financial information for accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Assist with expense tracking and documentation.
• Help maintain accurate customer and vendor records.
• Assist with payroll-related financial information as needed.
• Provide administrative support to the Financial Controller.
• Handle confidential financial information with professionalism and discretion.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
