Job summary

EST Analytical is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Controller to provide onsite support with the financial operations of its corporate group. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting financial reporting processes.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with 3–5+ years of experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and some experience with Power BI is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of AP, AR, and general accounting principles.
• Experience with sales tax reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable (AP) functions across multiple entities.
• Support accounts receivable (AR) processes, including invoicing and collections.
• Oversee the preparation and filing of sales tax reports.
• Contribute to month-end and year-end close processes and journal entries.
• Utilize Excel and Power BI to analyze data and generate insights.
• Assist in developing financial reporting processes and internal controls.
• Provide onsite accounting support and transactional oversight.
