Job summary

Kforce's client in the West Bend, WI area is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support the accounting team with day-to-day accounting transactions. The role reports to the Director of Finance and Administration and focuses on AR/AP responsibilities along with month-end close support.

Onsite work with potential involvement in streamlining processes and improving data accuracy across multiple software platforms, while benefiting from comprehensive company-provided health and retirement offerings.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with general ledger account reconciliation.
• Manufacturing or related industry experience is a plus.
• Working Conditions: Onsite

Responsibilities

• AR/AP
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
• Assist in Month End Close and Reporting
• Assist in streamlining accounting functions to be more efficient, and reduce/eliminate need for duplicate data entry among various software platforms
