Job summary

Martin Marietta seeks a Specialist to strengthen its Shared Services by supporting AR and AP operations and driving accurate processing. The role involves collaborating with Finance, Procurement, and Information Services to advance automation and standardize processes across the enterprise.

The position emphasizes improving operational efficiency, strengthening internal controls, and delivering scalable, compliant processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree requirement or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years in Shared Services focusing on AR and AP.
• Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards/Oracle) and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of HighRadius cloud-based solutions is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with advanced skills.

Responsibilities

• Support customer invoicing, cash application, and end-to-end order-to-cash processes.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external customers for accurate cash application.
• Perform complex cash application research on unapplied/unknown receipts.
• Review and approve customer refunds and oversee credit card chargebacks.
• Support end-to-end procure-to-pay processing, resolve vendor billing discrepancies, and answer inquiries.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Operations to streamline workflows and strengthen vendor relationships.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to increase efficiency and scalability.
• Support internal and external audit requests and document processes for SOX compliance.
