Job summary

ETE REMAN is seeking an Accounting Shared Services Manager to oversee AR and AP for our Milwaukee-based manufacturing organization. The role requires 3-5 years of experience in AR/AP within manufacturing and a strong focus on accuracy, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.

You will lead a team of accounting professionals, drive process improvements, manage cash disbursements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve payment discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in managing accounts receivable and accounts payable in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with Infor Syteline ERP or other ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AR and AP daily operations.
• Approve Amazon purchases for the company.
• Reconcile labor claim payments (WEX).
• Manage collections and reduce past-due items.
• Lead and mentor accounting professionals.
• Enhance AR/AP process documentation to improve efficiency.
• Monitor daily AR/AP aging reports for timely payments.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Prepare financial reports for Controller & CFO.
• Manage cash disbursements; review A/P check runs (ACH, Wire).
• Assist with credit and collections management.
• Be accountable for bad debt reserves and deposits.
• Monthly reconciliations G/L to subledger for AR/AP/V/P/WEX.
• Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Lead initiatives to document and automate accounting processes.
