Job summary

Remtec, Inc. in Canton, MA is seeking an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Accounting team. This hands-on role supports daily AP and AR operations and ensures transactions are processed accurately and timely.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with vendors, customers, and internal departments to resolve issues and improve processes. Knowledge of manufacturing ERP systems, especially Epicor, is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of AP/AR or general accounting experience.
• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Experience with invoicing, payments, cash receipts, and reconciliations.
• Manufacturing ERP experience a plus; Epicor preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Process and enter vendor invoices with proper coding and approvals.
• Match invoices to POs and receipts; reconcile discrepancies.
• Prepare AP reports and support payment processing.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
• Prepare and process customer invoices and apply payments.
• Monitor AR aging and assist with collections.
• Assist with month-end close, reconciliations, and audits.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Operations, Sales and others to resolve issues.
