Job summary

IES Infrastructure is seeking an Accounting Specialist to support AR and AP operations onsite in Massillon, OH. The role requires attention to detail, solid accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time hourly position reports to the accounting team and offers hands-on involvement with vendor payments and customer invoicing. You'll maintain accounting records, post transactions, reconcile accounts, and assist with month-end close

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; accounting coursework preferred.
• Previous accounting experience in AR/AP is required.
• Experience with ERP and Excel for financial processing.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Monitor outstanding AR balances and post customer payments.
• Process and code vendor invoices for payment in AP.
• Research discrepancies and maintain accurate ledgers.
• Assist with statements, collections, and month-end close.
• Reconcile accounts and support documentation and SOX controls.
