Job summary

The Town of Sudbury Park and Recreation Department is hiring an Aquatics Manager for Atkinson Pool, a full-time 35-hour-per-week, benefits-eligible role. You will oversee lifeguards, swim instructors and seasonal staff, and manage programs, operations, budgets and compliance.

Qualifications include an Associate’s degree or higher in Recreation or related field, three years’ aquatic facility management experience, CPO, Lifeguard and CPR certifications, and a valid driver’s license.

• Three years of experience managing an aquatic facility; Certification requirements: CPO, Lifeguard and CPR, plus valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversees Aquatics Supervisors, the Head Lifeguard, lifeguards, swim instructors and seasonal staff.
• Manages aquatic programming, facility maintenance planning, vendor relationships, contracts, budgets and customer service initiatives.
• Ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulations; assists in developing and monitoring the aquatics operating budget and revenue goals.
