Job summary

The Town of Avon is seeking a seasoned Aquatics Operations Supervisor to oversee year-round pool operations, staff management, and community aquatic programs. This role also entails seasonal planning for Nottingham Lake Lifeguard operations and collaboration on promotions and contracts.

Responsibilities include recruiting and training staff, creating schedules, managing budgets, and ensuring safety standards across all aquatic facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation or related field with 2+ years supervising aquatic facilities.
• Current certifications: AFO or CPO, ARC Lifeguarding/CPR/AED, WSI, LGI.
• Spanish language skills preferred.
• Valid Colorado driver''s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day aquatics operations and equipment maintenance.
• Recruit, train, and schedule full-time and part-time staff.
• Develop and oversee swim programs and community events.
• Ensure safety compliance and ADA compliance.
• Prepare budgets and assist in developing revenue plans.
• Coordinate promotions and contract pool bookings.
• Communicate lap pool schedule to the public.
