Job summary

The Town of Sudbury Park and Recreation Department is seeking an Aquatics Manager for Atkinson Pool, a full-time 35-hour-per-week role. You will manage programs, staff, and operations, directing lifeguards, swim instructors and seasonal workers, and shaping programming, safety and service standards.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate degree or higher in Recreation or related field, 3+ years managing an aquatic facility, and certifications including CPO, Lifeguard and CPR, plus a valid

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher in recreation or related field.
  • Minimum of three years managing an aquatic facility.
  • Certified Pool Operator required.
  • Lifeguard and CPR certifications and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee programs, personnel and operations at the pool.
  • Supervise Aquatics Supervisors, lifeguards and seasonal staff.
  • Manage aquatic programming and facility maintenance planning.
  • Handle vendor relationships, contracts and budgets.
  • Drive customer service initiatives and revenue goals.
  • Support development and monitoring of the aquatic operating budget.
