Job summary

YMCA of Central Ohio is seeking an Aquatics Experience Leader to oversee daily operations, support staff development, and ensure safe, high-quality programs for members and participants at our Bellefontaine location.

The role focuses on training, budget oversight, facility scheduling and collaboration with the executive team to maintain YMCA safety standards and effective community engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in recreation, aquatics, social sciences, or related field preferred.
• Two years experience in an aquatics environment or equivalent.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily aquatics operations and ensure safe, high-quality programs.
• Develop staff, schedule, train, and evaluate performance.
• Maintain records for certifications and training compliance.
• Create and manage annual aquatics budget with executive leadership.
• Collaborate with branch leadership on events and member programming.
