Job summary

Geauga YMCA is seeking an experienced Aquatics Programs Leader to develop, organize and implement high quality aquatic activities for members and the community. You will supervise staff, ensure safety procedures and coordinate with branch leadership to meet program goals.

The role emphasizes staff development, program budgeting, and alignment with YMCA safety standards and mission. This on-site position requires strong leadership and communication skills across departments.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred; in lieu of degree, 2–3 years related experience.
• Certified Pool Operator required; preferred before hire or within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises aquatic program activities and staff.
• Ensures aquatic safety and compliance with health regulations.
• Develops and schedules aquatics programs and budgets.
• Recruits, trains, and evaluates personnel and volunteers.
