Job summary

Responsibilities

• Lead and support aquatics staff through recruiting, onboarding, training, scheduling, supervising, coaching, and recognizing team members.
• Foster an inclusive team culture grounded in open communication and YMCA values.
• Conduct staff meetings, in-services, drills, and training for performance and safety.
• Provide day-to-day coaching and address performance concerns with the Aquatics Director.
• Model YMCA values and relationship-building in interactions with members and partners.
• Oversee daily aquatics operations, staffing, scheduling, and program delivery.
• Maintain records, certifications, training, and safety documentation.
• Ensure compliance with YMCA policies and safety requirements.
• Support program growth and achievement of participation and revenue goals.
• Coordinate with facilities on water quality, equipment, and safety.
