Job summary

YMCA of Greater Cleveland is seeking a dedicated aquatics program leader to develop and implement high-quality swim lessons, water fitness classes, and team practices. You will supervise staff, schedule programs, and ensure safety protocols across pool operations.

Responsibilities include staff development, budgeting for aquatics, and collaborating with community partners to expand offerings and impact. A strong commitment to YMCA values is essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred; in lieu, high school diploma with 2-3 years related experience.
• Minimum of three years related experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Certifications in lifeguarding and water safety are required or obtained shortly after hire.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises aquatics program activities to meet community needs and YMCA objectives.
• Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with community organizations.
• Ensures lifeguarding, swim instruction, First Aid and CPR trainings are delivered.
