SafeSplash in Oceanside, NY is seeking a General Manager to lead a 4-wall swim school, drive enrollment, and ensure profitability while maintaining world-class customer experience. You will manage operations, safety, and brand standards across locally operated sites.

You will recruit and develop a diverse team, schedule classes, monitor finances, and engage the local community to grow our brand and deliver consistent standards. On-site, full-time role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of management experience leading large teams (30+ employees).
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with initiative.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certs within 30 days; Lifeguard/Certified Pool Operator certs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operations Management: oversee swim school operations and scheduling.
• Class Scheduling: manage staffing levels to meet demand and class mix.
• Risk Management and Compliance: ensure safety, health codes, and employment laws.
• Facilities: maintain interior, exterior, pool, and pump room to brand standards.
• Safety: promote a safety culture and ensure QA and brand standards.
• Reporting: use financial data to drive revenue and profitability.
• Labor Management: optimize staff utilization and class mix.
• Budget Management: monitor expenses and financial outcomes.
• Cost Control: implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
