Job summary

SafeSplash is seeking a dedicated Supervisor to oversee daily swim school operations, reporting to the General Manager. You will supervise instructors and lifeguards, manage front desk duties, and help deliver a safe, engaging experience for students and families.

Key duties include hiring and onboarding, staff scheduling, local marketing support, and ensuring facility cleanliness and safety. The role requires strong communication, the ability to multi-task, and a CPR/First Aid/AED background or

Qualifications

• Supervisory or team leadership experience in aquatics, education, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while taking initiative.
• Comfortable working around water and interacting with children and parents.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs. and be on your feet for long periods.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications are required within 90 days of hire (we provide)

Responsibilities

• Operations: Assist in instructing, deck management and front desk duties to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Facilities: Open/close the facility and ensure cleanliness, safety and operational standards.
• Safety: Promote a safety culture and enforce safety protocols and brand standards.
• Risk Management: Address hazards promptly and maintain safety compliance.
• Hiring & Staffing: Assist in interviews and onboarding of new employees.
• Training & Development: Provide initial training and ongoing education for staff.
• Staff Scheduling: Schedule staff and communicate scheduling changes.
• Team Management: Supervise instructors and lifeguards to ensure quality lessons and safety.
• Retention & Culture: Foster an inclusive, positive workplace with teambuilding and recognition.
• Customer Experience: Deliver world-class service and maintain high satisfaction scores.
• Local Marketing: Support community marketing efforts and social media management.
• Community Relations: Build relationships with local businesses and organizations.
