Job summary

The City of Largo is seeking an Aquatics Maintenance Coordinator to oversee the upkeep of an Olympic-size pool and aquatics center. You will manage chemical dosing, filtration, pumps, and geothermal heating while ensuring safe, compliant operations to support a high quality public facility.

Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance with staff and contractors, monitoring testing and health standards, and maintaining equipment and facilities to meet community safety expectations and budget

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least five years of directly related experience in the repair and maintenance of aquatic facilities.
• Must possess a Certified Pool Operator License or Aquatic Facility Operator License.
• Valid Florida Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates aquatic maintenance and repair of an Olympic-size pool and aquatics center.
• Maintains chemical balances and testing/control systems.
• Maintains geothermal heating and cooling systems and pool pumps/filters.
• Oversees repairs to pool decks, walls, and tile; coordinates with vendors/contractors.
• Tracks safety inspections and maintains required records.
