City of Baltimore is seeking an Aquatic Center Leader to plan, promote, oversee and conduct community aquatic programs. You will lead part-time pool staff under moderate supervision and ensure safe, enjoyable experiences for participants.

Responsibilities include coordinating activities, maintaining records, and delivering excellent customer service while adapting programs to community needs. Evening and weekend hours may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years of aquatics experience including teaching swimming lessons.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
• Candidates must hold Lifeguard Certificate and Certified Pool Operator.
• Lifeguard Instructor and Water Safety Instructor certificates must be obtained within six months.

• Plan, promote, oversee and conduct aquatic programs at the community aquatic center.
• Lead part-time pool staff under moderate supervision.
• Ensure safety, quality and customer service for participants.
• Maintain records and coordinate activities with the broader team.
