Job summary

Old Colony YMCA is seeking an Aquatics Supervisor to lead lifeguard staff and ensure high standards for water safety, swim lessons, and program usage. You will coordinate trainings, monitor safety protocols, and collaborate with the aquatics team to align with budgets and member engagement.

The role requires strong leadership, 3–5 years supervisory experience, and current certifications. The position oversees aquatics operations, staffing, and safety throughout open hours at the Cosgrove Pool

Qualifications

• Team Leader certification and aquatic certifications required or in progress.
• Maintenance of certifications and in-service training as required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; 3–5 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to teach aquatic lessons and assist lifeguards as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise lifeguards during all operating hours.
• Schedule staff to ensure adequate pool coverage.
• Coordinate lifeguard trainings and in-services.
• Maintain safety standards, incident reporting, and documentation.
