The Aquatic Assistant Facility Manager reports to the Aquatic Manager and plays an integral role in the fulfillment of Miamisburg Parks and Recreations’ mission and vision. The Aquatic Assistant Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the deck, pool, water quality, and customer experience at the Sycamore Trails Aquatic Center. Responsibilities include assisting in interviews, supervision, training, and evaluation of aquatic facility employees, as well as ensuring excellent customer service throughout daily operations. Essential responsibilities include the daily management, scheduling, and accountability of the aquatic staff and instructors, as well as ensuring the daily operations, customer experience, and function of the facility are monitored.
Compensation for this position is $17.00 to $21.00 per hour DOQ

The Aquatic Assistant Facility Manager position requires the employee to work with computers, electronic and mechanical systems, both indoors and outdoors, including inclement weather. Some exposure to chemicals, high noise levels and other environmental conditions may be necessary to perform the job. This position is frequently required to interact with customers. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust visual focus. Employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, use hands, speak, hear, see, read, concentrate and/or lift up-to 50lbs. or more with proper equipment. Employee will be required to drive city-issued vehicles including but not limited to golf carts, utility vehicle, SUV, or pick-up truck.
