The City of Miamisburg Parks and Recreation Department is accepting applications for the 2027 seasonal position of Aquatic Team Member (Pool Cashier) at Sycamore Trails Aquatic Center.

Pool Cashiers report to the Concessions Crew Leader and the Aquatic Center Management team. This position plays an integral role in the fulfillment of Miamisburg Parks and Recreation’s mission and vision, handling daily operational duties and customer transactions with a focus on safety and service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 14 years old.
• Must be willing to complete First Aid/ CPR training within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities include assisting patrons, food preparation, cleaning, point of sale transactions and other duties as assigned at the Sycamore Trails Aquatic Center.All Aquatic Team Members strive to be the best source of information and assist patrons in understanding aquatic offerings and operations.

Compensation
Compensation for this position is $12.00 to $16.00 per hour, depending on qualifications (DOQ).

We need approximately 10 staff to begin in April for pre-season operations. The remaining staff members will start Mid- May for regular pool operations

Requirements

The Aquatic Team Member will be thoroughly committed to Miamisburg Parks and Recreation mission. All candidates should have a desire to learn and uphold Aquatic Center Policy. The Aquatic Team Members should be comfortable talking to patrons and working as a team. Aquatic Team Members must be able to conduct themselves in a respectful and positive manner to promote the highest quality customer experience possible. This position is required to complete First Aid/CPR training within 30 days of the start of their employment.
