Description

The City of Miamisburg Parks and Recreation Department is accepting applications for the 2027 seasonal position of Aquatic Team Member (Guest Services) at Sycamore Trails Aquatic Center.

The Guest Services Team Member reports to the Guest Services Crew Leader and the Aquatic Center Management team. This position plays an integral role in the fulfillment of Miamisburg Parks and Recreation’s mission and vision. The Guest Services Team Member is responsible for daily operational duties for facility admissions as well as liaison to the facility team members.

Responsibilities include residency verification, daily admissions sales, membership sales, facility rentals, and program registrations, leading birthday parties, recreation programs, special events and other duties assigned at the Sycamore Trails Aquatic Center. All Aquatic Team Members strive to be the best source of information and assist patrons in understanding aquatic offerings and operations.

Compensation

Compensation for this position is $12.00 to $16.00 per hour, depending on qualifications (DOQ).

Guest Services Hiring Timeline:

• Application Review Begins November 2026
• Virtual Interviews: February 17, 2027
• In-Person Interviews: March 2027
• Anticipated Start Date: April-May 2027

We need approximately 5 staff to begin in April for pre-season operations. The remaining staff members will start Mid- May for regular pool operations

The Aquatic Team Members will be thoroughly committed to Miamisburg Parks and Recreation mission. All candidates should have a desire to learn and uphold Aquatic Center Policy. The Aquatic Team Members should be comfortable talking to patrons and working as a team. Aquatic Team Members must be able to conduct themselves in a respectful and positive manner to promote the highest-quality customer experience possible. This position requires the completion of First Aid/CPR training within 30 days of the start of employment.
