Job summary

ADAM'S SPECIALTY PRODUCTS, LLC seeks an entry-level, part-time field service technician to service aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. The role requires basic hand tools, the ability to lift heavy loads, and willingness to travel within a 150-mile radius of Harrisburg, PA.

Mileage reimbursement is provided; hours average 10–20 per month. Work is during business hours (8am–7pm) with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in fish keeping and/or bird keeping preferred.
• Must have basic knowledge of hand tools.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel within service radius.
• Heavy lifting and maneuvering required.

Our customers look to us to create a very serene and engaging environment for their residents/customers to enjoy. This particular role will primarily be servicing of aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted livings facilities. This is an entry level position that requires basic knowledge of hand tools and assembly. heavy lifting, bending, and many physical demands are involved in the position. This is an part-time position. Work is typically done during business hours of 8am to 7pm but is flexible. Hours will vary from month to month but will average around 10-20 hours a month.

• Travel in a 150 mile radius of Harrisburg, PA will be required.

Orbisonia, PA (75 miles) and Honey Brook, PA (67 miles)

(Mileage reimbursement is paid while driving. Hourly Wage is not paid during driving)

• Due to work being performed in long term care homes, masking/goggles may be required.

Storing 50# bags of bedding and seed along with 2-4 27 gallon totes of supplies will be required for the job.

• Ability to successfully communicate and contribute in a team oriented environment.
• Must have the ability to comprehend and follow instructions and to read and write in English.
• Preference given to candidates with mechanical aptitude.
• Willingness to be flexible with schedule and job responsibilities.
• Able to travel in your service area radius
• Heavy lifting and maneuvering is required.
• Flexibility is a must!
• High School education is preferred.
• Driver’s License required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10-20 hours a month. Will vary some from week to week.
