Job summary

ADAM'S SPECIALTY PRODUCTS, LLC is seeking an entry-level service technician to maintain aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. The role requires basic hand tools, ability to lift heavy items, and flexibility as hours average 5–10 per month.

Travel within a 150-mile radius of Fort Smith, AR is required with sites including Fayetteville, Van Buren, Spiro, and Texarkana. The position offers a flexible, part-time schedule and starts around $25.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in fish keeping and/or bird keeping preferred.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt.
• Must be able to read and follow instructions and communicate in English.

Our customers look to us to create a very serene and engaging environment for their residents/customers to enjoy. This particular role will primarily be servicing of aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted livings facilities. This is an entry level position that requires basic knowledge of hand tools and assembly. Heavy lifting, bending, and many physical demands are involved in the position. This is a part-time position. Work is typically done during business hours of 8am to 7pm but is flexible. Hours will vary from month to month but will average around 5-10 hours a month.

Travel in a 150 mile radius of Fort Smith, AR will be required. Current furthest account is Fayetteville, AR about 60 Miles.

Cities will include:

• Fort Smith | AR
• Fayetteville | AR
• Van Buren | AR
• Spiro | OK
• Texarkana | AR

Due to work being performed in long term care homes, masking/goggles may be required.

Storing 50# bags of bedding and seed along with 4-5 27 gallon totes of supplies will be required for the job.

Required education, skills, abilities, and experience

• Experience in fish keeping and or bird keeping preferred

• Ability to successfully communicate and contribute in a team oriented environment.
• Must have the ability to comprehend and follow instructions and to read and write in English.
• Preference given to candidates with mechanical aptitude.
• Willingness to be flexible with schedule and job responsibilities.
• Able to travel in your service area radius
• Heavy lifting and maneuvering is required.
• Flexibility is a must!
• High School education is preferred.
• Driver’s License required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5-10 hours per month. Will vary some from week to week.
