Job summary

ADAM'S SPECIALTY PRODUCTS, LLC is seeking an entry level technician to service aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted living facilities within a 60-mile radius of Glasgow, MT. The role requires basic hand-tool knowledge, lifting and flexible part-time hours (8am–7pm).

Home visits in long-term care settings are expected with mileage reimbursement for travel. Flexibility and a strong work ethic are essential as the position involves heavy lifting, equipment setup, and coordinating

Our customers look to us to create a very serene and engaging environment for their residents/customers to enjoy. This particular role will primarily be servicing of aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted livings facilities. This is an entry level position that requires basic knowledge of hand tools and assembly. Lifting, bending, and heavy physical demands are involved in the position.

This area is currently only servicing bird cages.

This is a part-time position. Work is typically done during business hours of 8am to 7pm but is flexible. Hours will vary but it is a very part time position averaging 2-4 Hours per month.

Travel and Locations

Travel in a 60 mile radius of Glasgow, MT will be required using a personal vehicle. Mileage reimbursement is paid while driving. Hourly Wage is not paid during driving.

Due to work being performed in long term care homes, masking/goggles may be required.

Storing 50# bags of bedding and seed along with 4-5 27 gallon totes of supplies will be required for the job.

Required education, skills, abilities, and experience

• Experience in fish keeping and or bird keeping preferred

• Ability to successfully communicate and contribute in a team oriented environment.
• Must have the ability to comprehend and follow instructions and to read and write in English.
• Preference given to candidates with mechanical aptitude.

• Able to travel in your service area radius
• Heavy lifting and maneuvering is required.
• Flexibility is a must!
• High School education is preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
