Overview

This role involves managing a portfolio of customers, focusing on optimizing their cloud capabilities and expanding their use cases. The TAM provides deep technical mentoring to support their cloud initiatives, aiming for customer renewal and success. The position requires close collaboration with Account Managers, Product Management, Engineering, and Support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities.

Responsibilities

The Cloud TAM is a trusted advisor who helps customers understand and deploy effective Cloud Cost Management strategies using Apptio’s suite. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing success plans aligned with customer goals
  • Providing technical guidance on solution design, performance, and scalability
  • Building strong relationships across organizational levels
  • Troubleshooting complex technical issues and data analysis
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success
Location

This role can be performed anywhere in the U.S.

Qualifications
Preferred Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Data Analytics, or Computer Science

Minimum Requirements
  • Experience in enterprise B2B customer-facing roles with problem resolution and success focus
  • High-level knowledge of enterprise IT environments
  • Experience with SaaS support or implementation is a plus
  • ITIL or project management skills are advantageous
