Your Role and Responsibilities

Each Cloud TAM manages a portfolio of customers, focusing on optimizing current capabilities and expanding use cases by providing deep technical mentoring to support their Cloud initiatives. Success is measured by the renewal of the Apptio solution. The Cloud TAM partners closely with Account Managers, Product Management, Engineering, and Support teams to ensure customer success and identify upsell opportunities.

The Cloud TAM is technically adept, enjoys solving complex problems, and keeps pace with evolving product features. The role focuses on accelerating customer value realization and mentoring on solution design, performance, and scalability.

Our Cloud TAMs transform IT organizations by designing and deploying effective Cloud Cost Management strategies using Apptio's suite of Cloud products. They act as trusted advisors, leveraging diverse backgrounds, technical skills, and business acumen to turn customer goals into actionable plans that deliver quick value. Project and stakeholder management skills are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Delivery Consultant, you will collaborate with IBM clients and partners to design, deliver, and optimize IBM Technology solutions aligned with client goals. You will apply your technical expertise, problem-solving, and consultative skills to ensure world-class delivery. Working within IBM Technology Expert Labs, you will innovate solutions to address real business challenges and help clients achieve success.

This role involves:

  • Understanding client challenges and developing solutions to deliver business value through design, development, integration, and support.
  • Creating and executing agile plans for asset installation, testing, migration, and operations.
  • Conducting technical solution workshops.
  • Building relationships across all organizational levels, navigating debates to reach resolutions.
  • Demonstrating self-motivation, curiosity, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborating effectively with clients, partners, and internal teams.

This position can be performed anywhere in the U.S.

Required technical and professional expertise

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Data Analytics, or Computer Science preferred.
  • Experience in enterprise B2B customer-facing roles with problem resolution and success focus.
  • High-level knowledge of enterprise IT environments.
  • Experience with SaaS support or implementation is a plus.
  • ITIL or similar certifications and project management skills are advantageous.

Preferred Technical Skills:

  • Ability to detect and resolve data issues quickly.
  • Experience with REST APIs and cloud infrastructure concepts.
  • Certifications from AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI are a plus.
