Your Role and Responsibilities

Each Cloud TAM manages a portfolio of customers with a focus on optimizing their current capabilities and expanding their use cases by providing deep technical mentoring to support their Cloud initiatives. Success is measured by the renewal of the Apptio solution. The Cloud TAM forms close partnerships with Account Managers, Product Management, Engineering, and Support teams to contribute to customer success and identify upsell opportunities.

Your Role and Responsibilities

We seek proactive, passionate individuals who enjoy working with customers, building relationships, and solving complex technical questions. The Cloud TAM is the primary contact for product adoption, focusing on accelerating time to value through technical guidance, solution design, and best practices.

Introduction

Our Cloud TAMs help customers design and deploy effective Cloud Cost Management strategies using Apptio’s suite of Cloud Products, acting as trusted advisors to maximize their investment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand client challenges and develop solutions to deliver business value through design, development, migration, and support.
  • Create and execute agile plans for asset installation, testing, migration, and operations.
  • Conduct technical solution workshops.
  • Build effective relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation, curiosity, and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively across teams and clients.
Location

This role can be performed anywhere in the U.S.

Qualifications
Education

Bachelor's Degree preferred in Business, Economics, Accounting, Data Analytics, or Computer Science.

Experience
  • Experience in enterprise B2B customer-facing roles with problem resolution and success focus.
  • Knowledge of enterprise IT environments.
  • Experience with SaaS support or implementation is a plus.
  • ITIL or project management skills are advantageous.

  • Willingness to learn new products and processes.
  • Client-focused attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

  • Certifications in AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI are a plus.
