Harness is seeking an AppSec Sales Engineer to bridge sales and engineering for its AI-Native DevSecOps platform. You will showcase value through technical demonstrations, tailor messaging to executive and technical audiences, and manage the technical evaluation phase to drive successful customer deployments.

The role is remote in the Southeast with travel required. You will partner with customers to reduce security debt and implement API and AI security controls across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer supporting SaaS/software sales in the DevSecOps or Cybersecurity domain.
• Hands-on experience with modern application security practices and tools (API Security, AI Security, SAST, DAST, SCA).
• Able to convey complex customer security requirements to Engineering.

Responsabilités

• Deliver world-class platform presentations and demos focused on AppSec testing and runtime protection.
• Evangelize the Harness platform, highlighting AppSec and API/AI Security capabilities (SCA, SAST, DAST, runtime protection).
• Connect business security risks to technical solutions within the end-to-end DevSecOps pipeline.
• Drive engagements like workshops and POVs to prove value across the SDLC from code to operation.
