Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an Apprentice Optician in Dayton, OH to deliver the LensCrafters Experience by guiding customers through the sales process, taking measurements, fitting eyewear, and ensuring accurate dispensing.

You will join a team focused on customer service, using current optical theory and merchandise knowledge to help guests choose frames and lenses that fit their vision, lifestyle and budget, with on‑the‑job training through the Apprentice Program.

Qualifications

• High school graduate and part of an Apprentice Program.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of optical theory and current merchandise.
• Familiar with POS, computers and calculators.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the LensCrafters Experience to customers through the sales process.
• Assist customers with frame and lens selections based on vision, lifestyle and budget.
• Take measurements and ensure accurate dispensing of eyewear.
• Explain LensCrafters guarantees and services to customers.
