Job summary

Luxottica's LensCrafters is seeking an Apprentice Optician to help customers through the LensCrafters Experience, delivering value and outstanding service. You will assist customers in selecting frames and lenses, explain the process, and ensure accurate measurements and fitting.

You will work under supervision to develop optical knowledge, participate in the Apprentice Program, and support store operations, merchandising, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Part of an Apprentice Program.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly.
• Knowledge of optical theory and current eyewear merchandise.
• Knowledge of store merchandise and fashion trends.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators.
• Willingness to embrace new technology and change.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses suited to their vision, lifestyle and budget.
• Explain the process and deliver the LensCrafters Experience.
• Operate the POS terminal and handle payments securely following procedures.
• Take and record measurements, adjust or fit eyewear accurately.
• Ensure eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests.
• Maintain store visuals and planograms; keep the environment safe.
