Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an Apprentice Optician to deliver the LensCrafters Experience in a part-time role. You will assist customers with frame and lens selection, take measurements, and support fittings in a fast-paced optical retail environment.

Responsibilities include accurate POS use, explaining processing times, and ensuring eyewear meets optical standards. Prior Apprentice Program exposure and knowledge of optics are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Part of an Apprentice Program.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Familiarity with optical theory and merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Provide LensCrafters experience for customers in the store.
• Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses.
• Take measurements and assist with fittings (AccuFit).
• Operate POS accurately and handle transactions.
• Ensure eyewear meets LensCrafters standards and deadlines.
