Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an Apprentice Optician to deliver the LensCrafters Experience by guiding customers through the process from greeting to dispensing. You will assist with frame and lens selection, measurements, and adjustments, ensuring accuracy and quality while upholding store standards.

Under supervision, you will learn optical theory, merchandising, and customer service skills to support timely eyewear delivery and exceptional customer care in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Part of a sanctioned Apprentice Program.
• Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener and team builder.
• Knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Awareness of current fashion trends.
• Sales and service skills.
• Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators.
• Embrace new technology and change.

Responsibilities

• Assist with greeting, explaining process, merchandise selection, fitting and dispensing.
