Job summary

LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking an Apprentice Optician to deliver the LensCrafters Experience. You will assist customers with frame and lens choices, take precise measurements, and ensure high-quality eyewear fits and is dispensed correctly.

You will contribute to a team focused on service excellence, ongoing learning in optical theory, and adherence to store standards and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Part of a sanctioned Apprentice Program.
• Knowledge of optical theory and merchandise.
• Knowledge of store merchandise and fashion trends.
• Strong basic math and numeracy skills.
• Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators.
• Embrace new technology and change.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and explain the process transparently.
• Assist in frame and lens selection based on vision, lifestyle and budget.
• Provide accurate measurements, fittings and adjustments (AccuFit).
• Dispense eyewear and manage payments with POS accuracy.
• Educate customers on guarantees, services and care tips.
• Maintain store displays and uphold optical standards.
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for team members.
