Job summary

LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking an Apprentice Optician to deliver the LensCrafters Experience. You will assist customers with frame and lens choices, take measurements, and ensure precise fittings while upholding optical standards.

The role emphasizes customer service, a strong work ethic, and teamwork in a fast-paced salon-like environment. Prior optical knowledge is beneficial but training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Part of an approved Apprentice Program.
• Strong customer service: communication, listening, team building.
• Knowledge of optical theory and eyewear merchandise.
• Familiar with current store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the LensCrafters Experience to customers during sales and service processes.
• Assist in frame and lens selection based on vision, lifestyle, and budget.
• Explain procedures transparently and ensure accurate measurements and fittings.
• Operate POS with accuracy, process payments, and provide correct change.
• Maintain store appearance and participate in safe work practices in the lab.
