LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking an Apprentice Optician to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and ensure customer delight through expert fitting and service.

The role focuses on guiding customers in frame and lens choices, taking measurements, and explaining warranties and services. A path through an Apprentice Program is highlighted with potential growth in optical expertise.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Part of a sanctioned Apprentice Program is preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.
• Knowledge of optical theory and merchandise is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators.
• Embrace new technology and change.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and explain the process transparently.
• Assist with frame and lens selection based on vision and lifestyle.
• Assist others with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Take measurements and ensure proper eyewear fitting.
• Explain warranties, care tips, and follow-up services.
• Operate POS with accuracy and handle transactions.
