Depot Connect International (DCI) offers an Apprenticeship Program for Mechanics and Technicians in Fife, WA. The one-year training includes one-to-one mentorship and technical education, with the goal of advancing through the Steps to Success program to become a Master Technician.

Apprentices will earn while they learn, with eligibility for a Technician Monthly Bonus after one year and participation in the Tool Assistance Program after one year.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Able to pass a drug test and background check.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma, GED or higher.
• Technician degree or certification a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a one-year apprenticeship program with one-to-one mentorship and technical education.
• Engage in hands-on training to learn cargo tank inspection and repair.
• Progress through the Steps to Success program to become a Master Technician.

Apprenticeship Program for Mechanics and Technicians

Our program provides an entry level opportunity into the Cargo Tank Motor Vehicle Inspection and Repair Industry.

The apprentice program is a one year defined training program to include one to one hands on mentorship and technical education. After graduating, you will continue your journey with our Steps to Success program to become a Master Technician

Our Apprentices will:

• Earn and learn
• Be eligible for Technician Monthly Bonus after one year
• Be eligible for Tool Assistance Program after one year

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 7am-3:30pm

Pay Rate: $22-24/hr

Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age

Physical Demands:

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
