Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking technicians to work on ISO Tank Containers, performing pressure tests and routine maintenance. You will repair valves, gaskets and gauges, drain and dry tanks, and operate hoists, cranes and precision measuring instruments.

Candidates should have a mechanical background, strong communication skills, and be detail oriented. Ability to wear a respirator and work at heights inside tanks is required.

Qualifications

• Candidates will possess a mechanical background.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to wear a respirator and work at heights on top of tanks.
• Work in enclosed spaces inside tanks.

Responsibilities

• Pressure test, repair and replace valves, gaskets and gauges
• Drain tank and insuring tank is dry
• Operate hoists, cranes, and precision measuring and testing instruments
• Observe and listen to mechanical devices to diagnose causes of mechanical issues
• Repair and replace defective parts, inspect and adjust used parts
• Lubricate and clean parts
• Operate lathe, drill press and grinders
• Use hand tools and power tools

Role overview:

Working on ISO Tank Containers by pressure testing tanks, drain and dry out the inside of the tank. Repair and replace tank container valves, gaskets and gauges.

Position Responsibilities:

• Pressure test, repair and replace valves, gaskets and gauges
• Drain tank and insuring tank is dry.
• Operate hoists, cranes, and precision measuring and testing instruments
