Mohave County Assessor’s Department seeks an Appraiser II in Bullhead City, AZ to perform taxable property appraisals across the county. The role combines office valuation with field inspections, requiring travel to multiple county locations and conferences within the state, including Phoenix and Tucson.

The position offers a standard 8:00am–5:00pm schedule, with travel training and certification advancement to Level II. Provisional certifications may be pursued and supported by the county.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Level I and II AZ Dept of Revenue certifications.
• 18+ months appraisal/assessment experience for Appraiser II.
• Proficiency with CAMA software and Excel.
• Willingness to travel countywide and to conferences.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Perform real and personal property appraisals and assessments.
• Utilize CAMA software and data tools for valuation.
• Prepare reports and value opinions for tax assessment.
• Travel to county locations for inspections and training.
• Work in office and field environments in varying weather.
