Job summary

Newrez is seeking a Manager of Quality Control to oversee QC operations within the Appraisal Management division. You will lead the QC team, develop quality strategies, and ensure adherence to USPAP, Dodd-Frank, FHA, and other guidelines while maintaining client confidence.

You will collaborate with Compliance, Operations, and Vendor Management to resolve quality issues, monitor metrics, and drive continuous improvement. On-site role with opportunities for professional growth and impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in real estate appraisal quality control, appraisal review, or appraisal operations.
• 2+ years management experience preferred.
• Experience with USPAP standards and agency/investor guidelines (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA) required.
• Appraisal license or certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the QC team.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust QC processes and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor daily QC operations and ensure timely, accurate quality reviews.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Operations, and Vendor Management to resolve quality concerns.
• Support audits by preparing documentation and facilitating auditor requests.
• Update engagement letters to meet client and regulatory standards.
