Job summary

Newrez seeks a hands-on Manager of Quality Control to lead the QC team within the Appraisal Management division. You will design and enforce quality control programs, ensure USPAP and agency guidelines compliance, and drive improvements across appraisal reviews.

You will mentor staff, collaborate with Compliance, Operations, and Vendor Management, and participate in client calls to review scorecards and policies. On-site role based in our Bryn Mawr office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years in real estate appraisal quality control, appraisal review, or appraisal operations.
• 2+ years of management experience preferred.
• Experience with USPAP and agency/investor guidelines (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA) required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Establish policies for quality control across appraisal review functions.
• Monitor daily QC operations for timely and accurate reviews.
• Analyze QC data to identify trends and deficiencies.
• Escalate significant QC issues to senior leadership.
• Lead and mentor the QC team and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Attend client calls to review scorecards and policies.
