Job summary

Newrez is seeking a Manager of Quality Control to oversee the QC operations within the Appraisal Management division. You will lead a team, develop quality strategies, ensure compliance with USPAP, Dodd-Frank, FHA, and other standards, and drive improvements in appraisal review processes to protect integrity and customer confidence.

The role requires strong leadership, data analysis, and collaboration with Compliance, Operations, and Vendor Management to resolve quality concerns and maintain

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years in real estate appraisal QC, review, or operations.
• 2+ years management experience preferred.
• Experience with USPAP and agency/investor guidelines (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA) required.
• appraisal license or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QC processes aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Lead QC team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Analyze QC data to identify trends and improvements.
• Ensure documentation and audits readiness; support client reviews.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Operations, and Vendor Management to resolve issues.
