Clallam Transit System in Port Angeles, WA is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily activities of fixed-route and paratransit services. You will guide, train, support, and counsel assigned personnel while monitoring safety and service quality.
The role requires a WA CDL with passenger endorsement (air-brake restriction removed) or ability to obtain it; a high school diploma and 3 years supervisory experience are preferred. Compensation ranges from $38.69 to $52.03 per hour.
Under the general direction of the operations manager, the operations supervisor supervises the daily activities of fixed-route and paratransit services. Responsibilities include providing guidance, training, support, and counseling to assigned personnel; investigating accidents and incidents; and public comment processing.
Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalency, 3 years of supervisory experience preferred, which is defined as the authority/influence to hire, separate, discipline, and evaluate employee performance, or to otherwise directly affect an employee’s employment.
Licensures and Certifications: Valid Washington State commercial driver’s license, with a passenger endorsement and air-brake restriction removed, or the ability to obtain within the probationary period.

The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week, non-represented, and non-exempt. The work schedule may vary depending on workload and departmental needs.
