Skagit Transit is seeking an Operations Supervisor to coordinate daily fixed route and paratransit operations, including dispatching and supervision. The role involves monitoring performance, scheduling assignments, and guiding staff through training and safety protocols.

The position requires an Associate degree in management or related field, CDL Class B with a clean record, and several years of transit experience. We offer competitive wages and benefits, with DOE consideration.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in management, public administration or related field.
• Training in business administration, supervision or related field.
• Three years of increasingly responsible public transit experience.
• Valid Washington State CDL Class B with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily operations of fixed route and paratransit services.
• Monitor service and operator performance; prepare daily work assignments.
• Supervise and evaluate assigned personnel; participate in hiring decisions.
• Respond to accidents, incidents, and service disruptions; communicate with departments.
• Schedule vehicles with Maintenance for efficient utilization and timely service.
• Develop operating procedures within budget and agency policies.
• Assist in route studies and ridership data reporting.
• Maintain records on personnel, accidents and incidents.
