Job summary

Summit Polymers is seeking an Applique Molding Operator/Associate who will operate molding machines, perform trimming and packing, and monitor quality. You will follow instruction sheets, inspect parts, record data, and support 5S and housekeeping requirements on the line.

Responsibilities include counting, weighing, labeling, assisting with breaks, and raising any machine issues to supervision. A High School Diploma or GED is required; you must be able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 30

Responsibilities

Reads, understands, and follows Operator Instruction Sheet to determine part number(s), inspection procedures, packing requirements, and any special instruction.
Retrieves, separates, inspects, counts, weighs, packs, and labels parts in accord with written and/or oral instructions.
Operates molding machines and/or air activated tools and equipment to produce product; communicates machine malfunctions and variances to supervision.
Compares, inspects, and monitors production quality to approved samples and accepts, rejects, or questions in accord with standards.
Performs simple clerical tasks involving recording and summarizing production as required.
