Responsibilities

• Reads, understands, and follows Operator Instruction Sheet to determine part numbers and packing requirements.
• Retrieves, inspects, counts, weighs, packs, and labels parts per written/oral instructions.
• Uses hand tools to trim, cut, and prepare parts per safety procedures.
• Operates molding machines and air tools to assemble or produce product; reports malfunctions.
• Compares, inspects, and monitors production quality against standards.
• Performs simple clerical tasks to record production data.
• Maintains cleanliness and 5S standards at the workstation.
• Interfaces with the production monitoring system.
• Assists with color changes / mold changes and setup for next job.
• Assists breaks for other operators.
• Performs other tasks as directed by supervisor.
