Summit Polymers is seeking a Production Operator/Associate for the Assembly area. You will work under the supervisor to operate molding machines and assemble parts, perform inspections, and ensure quality according to standards.

The role involves counting, weighing, packing, labeling, and simple clerical tasks within a 5S environment. This position requires a high school diploma or GED and the ability to read and follow instructions, with attention to detail and basic math.

• Basic math and counting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Reads, understands, and follows Operator Instruction Sheet to determine part number(s), inspection procedures, and packing requirements.
• Retrieves, separates, inspects, counts, weighs, packs, and labels parts per instructions.
• Uses clippers, knives, screwdrivers, and other simple hand tools to trim, cut, and prepare parts per safety procedures.
• Operates molding machines and/or air activated tools to assemble, decorate, or produce product; reports machine issues.
• Compares, inspects, and monitors production quality to approved samples and accepts/rejects per standards.
• Performs simple clerical tasks involving recording and summarizing production.
