Job summary

Summit Polymers is seeking a Production Operator/Assembler to perform molding machine operation and assist with assembly of molded parts. You will handle simple tools, inspect quality, and help with packing and labeling while following established work instructions.

High School Diploma or GED required; candidate should be capable of standing for long shifts, lifting up to 30 pounds, and supporting 5S cleanliness in a manufacturing setting. No travel expected.

Qualifications

• Must be able to understand and follow instruction sheets.
• Ability to read simple measurements and operate basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow Operator Instruction Sheet to determine part numbers and packing requirements.
• Inspect, count, weigh, pack and label parts per written/oral instructions.
• Operate molding machines and assemble parts, report variances to supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area per 5S standards.
• Support color/mold changes and set up for next job as directed.
